Decorative concrete

buy decorative concrete directly from the manufacturer

Decorative concrete is a cement-sand mortar, which properties are similar to ordinary concrete, but which delivers amore aesthetically pleasing finish. The hardened surface may imitate the appearance of different surfacing materials, such as stone, marble, wood or other patterns. Such concrete mixtures are used in the manufacture of hard landscaping elements, garden elements, construction of decorative facades, sculptures, and park footpaths. Decorative concrete* allows you to implement any architectural ideas and desires with minimal effort, while still spending minimum time and money. Products made of decorative concrete are durable and resistant to temperature changes, exposure to moisture, mould attack, cracking and rubbing. Decorative concrete is mainly composed of natural elements: sand, gravel, lime, dry cement mix, as well as various dyes used to colour concrete**. Concrete quality is also critical for ensuring long-term durability of structures – the higher the grade of concrete, the less likely it is to crack.

All concrete mixes by HOUSE BETON LLC are always produced in line with the relevant requirements, mixing technology and mixing ratio. Usually, the decorative concrete grade is selected depending on the product type and operating conditions. However, if you still have any questions, our managers are ready to provide personal professional advice on choosing the concrete mix to suit your exact needs and your budget. And our highly qualified laboratory technicians will select the raw materials and develop a tailor-made mix recipe for applications of any complexity level. We guarantee high quality of our decorative concrete plus delivery to your construction site.

Concrete grades

Concrete grade

The concrete grade is designated by an alphanumeric code (for example, M-100),which denotes the ultimate compressive strength expressed in kilograms per square centimetre. A higher value means a greater amount of cement in the composition. The grades range from M-50 to M-1000, while the most popular grades are between 100 and 500. The higher the strength grade, the stronger, more frost-resistant and more durable the concrete.

Today, design specifications often define the class of concrete mix, which shows properties of the mix more precisely. The class of concrete mix denotes the permissible deviation from the mix quality. It shows the strength value obtained for an actual sample while the grade shows the estimated strength only. The class of concrete is marked with the letter ‘B’, and ranges from 3.5to 80. Classes B7.5 to B40 are used in domestic construction.

В25

В25

:

B25 has improved strength, water impermeability, frost resistance, and density and is able to take up significant static and cyclic loads. It is used for concrete casting of foundation slabs, floor slabs, vertical structures, reinforced concrete items, as well as industrial floors that are intended for further topping treatment.

В30

В30

:

Mixes of class B30 offer increased strength performance. They are used in applications, where the increased strength, waterproofness, and frost resistance are required, including concrete casting of foundation slabs, floor slabs, vertical structures, structural columns, reinforced concrete items, as well as industrial floors that are intended for further topping treatment.

В35

В35

:

B35 is a high strength concrete used in construction projects, where constant heavy loads are expected. Possible areas of application include bridge construction, hydrotechnical industry, foundations of high-rise buildings, industrial floors, etc.

P3

P3

:

Р3 — workability factor measured by concrete slump test, with a slump of 10-15 cm. The mix is used for the construction of foundations, stairs, screeds, floors and for pouring into form works. This concrete mix must only be poured using special construction tools: vibrating pokers, vibrating screeds, concrete laying machines.

P4

P4

:

Р4 — workability factor measured by concrete slump test, with a slump of 16-21 cm. The mix is used in applications of any complexity level. Due to good workability (fluidity), it fills a form work completely, so that no pores or air voids are formed. The mix can be transported over a long distance by a concrete pump or a chute system.

P5

P5

:

Р5 — workability factor measured by concrete slump test, with a slump of 22 cm or more. P5 is a highly workable mix. It is used not very frequently, usually in closed formwork structures with congested reinforcement.

SF1

SF1

:

SF is a classification of highly workable self-compacting concrete mixes according to the slump flow value, which describes flowability of a fresh mix. SF1 is used for unreinforced or slightly reinforced structures. The slump flow value of SF1 mix is 55 to 65 cm.
